We are looking for a dedicated Laboratory Analyst to join our technical production team in Brakpan, Gauteng. This is a permanent position for a candidate who is ready to perform scheduled testing, find innovative solutions, and ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Laboratory Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our Quality Control lab. Your primary purpose is to ensure all incoming raw materials, materials in process, and final products are tested with precision and care. You’ll work on a shift basis to perform a variety of chemical and physical analyses.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing Analysis: You will conduct chemical and physical analysis on materials to ensure they meet the required parameters.
• Ensuring Accuracy: You’ll be responsible for verifying all test results and immediately reporting any exceptions to the relevant personnel, such as the shift foreman or QC supervisor.
• Maintaining Equipment: You will calibrate plant QC equipment and, when necessary, find new solutions or make improvements to test methods and equipment for non-standard tests.
• Record Keeping: You’ll accurately record all results in our In4.0rm quality module.
• Safety and Improvement: You’ll ensure adherence to all safety rules and assist with plant trials where possible.
