🌟 The Opportunity

As a Key Account Manager, you’ll build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with major clients — understanding their reward strategies, managing their REMchannel data processes, and delivering valuable insights that support their business goals.

You’ll serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication, service excellence, and proactive problem-solving. Your role is critical in promoting Old Mutual’s consulting solutions while fostering loyalty, satisfaction, and new business growth.


đź§­ Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Implementation

  • Execute operational strategies that align with business goals.
  • Deliver measurable results and ensure the achievement of defined deliverables.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for key clients.
  • Strengthen client relationships through effective communication and tailored solutions.
  • Drive satisfaction and enhance Net Promoter Scores (NPS).

3. Account Management

  • Manage all aspects of the REMchannel data collection process.
  • Provide clients with statistical support, reporting insights, and consulting services.
  • Assist with data uploads, validation, job matching, and audit processes.
  • Deliver REMchannel training and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Prepare project proposals, scopes, reports, and presentations.
  • Manage consulting projects, including job architecture and analysis.
  • Present findings to client executives with professionalism and clarity.

4. New Business Development

  • Identify growth opportunities and achieve personal and cross-selling targets.
  • Promote and demonstrate the REMsuite suite of tools.

5. Internal Processes & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and upload to SharePoint.
  • Test new technologies and contribute to process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage outstanding debtors and cost efficiency.

6. Risk & Compliance

  • Adhere to company risk management standards and client due diligence protocols.
  • Maintain compliance with all product and service policies.

7. Knowledge Management

  • Share insights, track project performance, and support team development.
  • Facilitate skills transfer and ensure consistent delivery excellence.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (required) or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Experience: Up to 8 years of core reward consulting or key account management experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with REMsuite tools (REMchannel, REMprofile, REMeasure) and data analytics platforms.
