What You’ll Be Doing 💼

As a Junior HR Business Partner, you’ll be instrumental in supporting and implementing HR initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic HR Partnership: You’ll assist in developing and executing HR initiatives, ensuring they align with local business priorities. You’ll provide vital support to managers on performance management, team development, and resource planning.
• HR Transformation & Efficiency: You’ll help drive projects that standardize HR processes and enhance efficiency across our African businesses. You’ll also ensure our policies are aligned with local compliance requirements.
• Employee Wellbeing: You will help design and manage a comprehensive regional Wellbeing Plan for Africa, addressing the physical, emotional, and financial needs of our team members.
• Performance & Capability Development: You’ll provide coaching and advice to managers on team dynamics and leadership development. You’ll also support them in navigating organizational change with a balance of empathy and a focus on results.
• Data & Analytics: You’ll use your strong Excel skills to manage HR data, providing actionable insights and reports to senior management. Your analytical mindset will be key to identifying opportunities for improvement.

We’re looking for a highly motivated individual with a blend of technical skills and interpersonal savvy. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional HR accreditation is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in HR, with experience in generalist and specialist roles.
• Knowledge of local labor laws and a proven track record of managing projects.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• A high level of discretion and attention to detail.
