About the Role
As an IT Risk Officer, you will assist business unit management in developing and implementing risk management strategies and policies that align with the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee’s approved risk appetite. You will ensure robust risk processes are applied across the business, from assessment and identification to management, reporting, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management & Control: Develop and implement plans for critical aspects of financial management and control.
- Data Collection & Analysis: Provide authoritative recommendations with a significant business impact.
- Policies & Procedures Development: Draft policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with external regulations.
- Organizational Risk Management: Deliver contingency plans for key risk management processes.
- Risk Scenario Modeling: Analyze and quantify risks associated with products, applications, and market activities.
- Recommendations: Suggest improvements to policies, processes, and standards to enhance operational support.
- Insights & Reporting: Design reporting strategies, execute complex reports, and provide actionable insights.
- Document Preparation: Tailor communication materials for different target audiences.
- Operational Compliance: Monitor compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
- Personal Capability Building: Serve as a subject matter expert, stay updated on industry regulations, and maintain professional accreditations.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or honours, preferably with professional qualifications in legal, audit, or accounting.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience.
