About the Role
We’re seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer to join our Oracle Finance Team. This role involves full-stack development, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of high-performing, scalable, and secure web applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative software solutions that make a real business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-End Development: Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Back-End Development: Develop and maintain robust server-side applications using modern frameworks and languages such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
- Database Management: Design efficient database schemas and queries using SQL and NoSQL technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- API Integration: Connect applications with third-party systems and services through APIs.
- Testing & Debugging: Write and execute unit tests to ensure performance, scalability, and security.
- Version Control: Manage and track code changes using Git for collaborative development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, engineers, and product teams to deliver seamless, high-quality applications.
Required Skills & Tools
- Oracle Expertise: OIC Gen 3, ODI, BIP, BICC, APEX
- Oracle Fusion Cloud: 1–2 years of experience
- Integration Patterns: Incident handling, audit item management, and change request processing
Qualifications & Experience
🎓 NQF Level 7 – Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Postgraduate Certificate (or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with at least one programming language (JavaScript, Python, Ruby, etc.)
- Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Passion for continuous learning and emerging technologies
