Core Responsibilities

The Inbound Operations Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting and coordinating the inbound supply chain process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Administrative & Coordination Support: Providing essential administrative and coordinative support across the department, ensuring adherence to all SOPs, policies, and procedures.
• Customer & Supplier Resolution: Collaborating with Customer Service and Buying teams to swiftly resolve:
  • Customer order queries and complaints, including root cause analysis.
  • Supplier delivery issues and queries.
• Order Management & Communication: Proactively ensuring customers receive their orders on time and managing communication by providing timely updates on order status and any changes.
• Query Management: Taking ownership and efficiently managing all assigned Inbound queries.
• Purchase Order Processing: Processing created purchase orders punctually, tracking them, and actively managing suppliers and deliveries to ensure stock availability and confirmed delivery dates.
• Shipment Monitoring: Continuously following up on all orders to proactively identify and address unconfirmed and late shipments that may impact customer order fulfillment.
• Inter-Branch Transfers (IBT) Management: Managing IBTs, responding to stock availability challenges, and liaising with distribution centers to ensure timely customer order delivery.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is mandatory.
• 2-4 years of relevant industry experience.
• Demonstrated competency in MS Office packages.
• A relevant tertiary qualification is considered a significant asset.
