The Role

A vital opportunity exists for a Human Capital Administrator to join the Consumer Division, supporting the Xinergistix contract. This role is crucial for providing effective end-to-end HR administrative support, maintaining accurate employee records, and serving as the primary point of contact for staff queries regarding company benefits and policies. The Administrator ensures all HR processes are executed compliantly and efficiently.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

I. Employee Administration and Record Management

  • Documentation: Prepare, draft, and amend all necessary HR documents, including employment contracts and recruitment guides.

  • Record Keeping: Responsible for accurately forming and maintaining comprehensive employee records and personnel files.

  • Benefit Administration: Provide consultative services to all employees, advising on complex company benefits and policies, including:

    • Pension and Provident Fund benefits (including withdrawals).

    • Housing and Medical Aid schemes.

    • Leave administration and other employee benefits.

  • HR Support: Assist human resources staff in a wide variety of administrative duties, including documenting manpower planning and statistics.

II. Claims and Compliance

  • Claims Processing: Handle queries and required processes related to death claims concerning provident funds and medical aid.

  • Bargaining Council: Ensure adherence to National Bargaining Council agreements, including those related to salaries and wages.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise effectively with external parties such as families and beneficiaries regarding claims and benefits.

III. Training and Support

  • Consultative Services: Render effective consultative services to all employees on HR practice and policy.

  • Training Promotion: Promote continuous training and update staff on HR processes, ensuring accessibility and clarity of information to all employees.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Minimum qualification of a Diploma / NQF Level 6 in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Up to 3 years of experience in a similar HR administrative role.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of company benefits policy (Provident Fund, Medical Aid, Leave, etc.).

  • Experience liaising with bargaining councils or managing related agreements is highly advantageous.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle sensitive queries.

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

  • Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities.
