Are you a detail-oriented HR professional with a passion for employee relations and a knack for administrative excellence? Senwes, a leader in the agricultural sector, is seeking a dedicated HR Officer: Employee Relations and Shared Services to join our team in Klerksdorp.
This is a key role where you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive HR support, from managing employee records and facilitating onboarding to ensuring our operations are compliant and our workplace is harmonious. If you have a solid understanding of labor relations and a talent for administration, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the HR Officer, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of functions that are crucial to the day-to-day success of our HR department.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Employee Relations: Facilitating and chairing disciplinary inquiries and grievance procedures, ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Administrative Support: Providing comprehensive administrative support for core HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding.
- Onboarding: Facilitating a seamless onboarding process for new hires, from paperwork to orientation, and providing them with support during their first few weeks.
- Data Management: Ensuring employee records are accurate and up-to-date, managing confidential information, and processing payroll data on the SAGE system.
- Compliance: Acting as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and ensuring all HR practices adhere to relevant laws and company policies.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a proactive and organized individual with a strong foundation in human resources.
Key Requirements:
- Qualifications: A relevant B-Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
- Experience: 2–3 years of related experience.
- Skills: Strong administrative and interpersonal skills, with a good understanding of labor relations legislation and HR best practices.
This is a permanent, mid-level position offering a market-related salary.
