Are you ready to lead and shape the business banking landscape at a local level? Standard Bank is seeking a dynamic Head of Local Market, Business Banking to drive client coverage, strengthen business client relationships, and deliver both financial and non-financial outcomes aligned with our strategic objectives.
In this role, you will be accountable for implementing the Business Banking value proposition and life journeys at a local market level. You will ensure the delivery of Standard Bank Group (SBG) and third-party products and services through our client engagement platform, helping businesses thrive while achieving strategic value drivers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualifications: First Degree in Business or Commerce
- Experience: 8–10 years in Relationship Banking, Business & Commercial Banking, with significant coverage and branch banking experience
- Demonstrated ability in managing a portfolio of business banking clients, income statements, and balance sheets
- Understanding of digital banking, open banking, and platform integration
