Taifa Gas is Hiring! Graduate Trainee Opportunities in Kibaha, Tanzania
Are you a recent graduate looking to kickstart your career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? Taifa Gas is excited to announce multiple Graduate Trainee positions at our working station in Kibaha, Tanzania. We are looking for bright, enthusiastic, and highly motivated individuals to join our growing team.

Working Station: Kibaha, Tanzania
We are currently hiring for the following Graduate Trainee positions:
1. Graduate Trainee – Stores and Material Management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Procurement & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Materials Management
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP is an advantage)
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High level of integrity and responsibility
- Support in the proper storage and arrangement of items based on type, frequency of use, and safety requirements
- Participate in issuing materials to production or maintenance teams as per approved requisitions
- Ensure proper tagging, labelling, and classification of all items stored
2. Graduate Trainee – Production
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (welding, machining, fabrication).
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production environment.
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Assist in implementing quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Observe and follow all workplace health and safety procedures and guidelines.
3. Graduate Trainee – Maintenance (Mechanical/Electrical)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field
- Recent graduate (within 1-2 years); no more than 1 year of work experience
- Strong interest in industrial maintenance and engineering operations
- Willingness to work in factory settings and adapt to rotating shifts
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
- Good understanding of safety procedures and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision once trained
4. Graduate Trainee – Accounts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional Development (added advantage) CPA (T),
- IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, willingness to learn
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries
- Participate in other assigned tasks and rotational training within the department
- Ensure financial practices are in compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations (TRA, NSSF, WCF, etc.)
- Participate in cost tracking and expense control
- Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Maintain up-to-date records of debts and payments
5. Graduate Trainee – Quality Assurance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related technical field
- Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of internship/attachment experience in a manufacturing or quality environment
- Basic knowledge of pressure vessel codes (ASME, TBS, etc.) is an added advantage.
- Understanding of measuring tools (Vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges, etc.)
- Familiarity with quality tools and techniques (e.g., 7QC tools, root cause analysis)
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt
- Maintain accurate QA records, test reports, and inspection checklists
