The Graduate Management Trainee program plays a critical role in ensuring
there is a pipeline of young professionals with the skills required to plug in to
the I&M Group’s strategic agenda within the Eastern Africa region. The
program is targeting young and energetic professionals willing to work in a fast
paced, dynamic, and agile environment.

Eligibility Requirements:
• Graduates with a Master’s degree or exceptional Undergraduate
degree holders in Finance/Accounts/Business Administration/Actuarial
Science or other Business-related fields from a recognized university
• Fresh university graduates not exceeding 25 years of age
• A minimum GPA of 3.5 at university level
• A minimum of Division II from both O-level and A-level education
• A minimum of C in Math and English subjects
• Graduate year 2024/2025
• Strong communication skills
• Assertive – able to stand by principles despite opposition.
• Must have strong analytical skills.
• Able to retain optimism despite setbacks and not take criticism
personally.
• Methodical, accurate, pays attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure

I&M Bank Tanzania Limited is a commercial bank in Tanzania headquartered in Dar es Salaam and a subsidiary of Kenyan based I&M Bank Group. It is licensed by the Bank of Tanzania, the central bank and national banking regulator.

As of December 2013, the bank was a mid-sized financial institution, providing banking services to individuals and businesses, with emphasis on serving medium to large corporate clients. At that time, the bank’s total assets were valued at approximately TSh 296.6 billion (US$175.5 million), with shareholders’ equity estimated at TSh 29.4 billion (US$17.4 million).

The bank started operations in Tanzania in 2002 as CF Union Bank, with headquarters in Dar-es-Salaam. By 2010 it operated two branches in Dar-es-Salaam and a third branch in Arusha. In January that year, the shareholders of CF Union Bank sold the bank to a consortium headed by I&M Bank Group.
