Are you a safety and fleet management professional with a passion for compliance and a knack for leadership? We’re looking for a dedicated Fleet & Safety Supervisor to join our team at the SAB Ga-Rankuwa Depot. This is a critical, on-the-ground role where you will be the guardian of our fleet, our people, and our commitment to operating lawfully and ethically.

This position is for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to take full ownership of our safety and fleet programs. You’ll be the expert who ensures we not only meet, but exceed, all regulatory and internal standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Oversight and Compliance: You will be the go-to person for all things related to safety and fleet. Your primary responsibility is to ensure full compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act, the Road Traffic Act, and other internal standards.
• Fleet Management: You will oversee our entire fleet—including trucks, trailers, and forklifts—conducting daily inspections, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring optimal availability.
• Risk Mitigation: You’ll proactively identify workplace hazards, conduct internal audits, and lead investigations into incidents to implement preventative actions and minimize our legal liability.
• Team Empowerment: You will empower operators and line managers with the knowledge and skills they need to lead with safety in mind. You’ll also conduct training and maintain all necessary documentation.

Who We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate has a relevant 3-year tertiary degree or diploma and 2-3 years of functional fleet experience. You must have a strong understanding of relevant legislation, business acumen, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP. Your honesty, integrity, and analytical skills will be key to your success.
