About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Financial Business Analyst to align financial analysis initiatives with business goals and financial strategy.
• Conduct deep financial and data analysis to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Translate business and data needs into clear, documented requirements by engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Detect and resolve data inconsistencies to ensure reliable financial reporting.
• Design and model data flows and business processes that strengthen solution design and integrity.
• Break down initiatives into actionable items, define acceptance criteria, and maintain traceability.
• Evaluate financial and operational solutions for performance and strategic alignment.
• Support quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Present financial findings and recommendations through clear reports and presentations.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships to promote collaboration and shared understanding.
• Uphold governance, risk management, and data quality standards.
• Champion automation and efficiency through the use of financial technology tools.
• Mentor team members and share best practices to build analytical capability.

Qualifications & Experience

🎓 Essential Qualifications:

• Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• Advanced Diploma / National First Degree

🎓 Preferred:

• Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Management
• CIMA Certification or similar

💻 Certifications:

• Hands-on experience or certification in Business Intelligence tools and enterprise systems such as:
  • SAP Business Suite
  • Power BI
  • Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
  • Power Apps
  • Microsoft VBA

📈 Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Financial Services environment
