Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis

• Analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to evaluate performance.
• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with forecasts and budgets.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support key business decisions.
• Evaluate departmental financial performance, identifying trends and anomalies.
• Calculate return on investment (ROI) for various business initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve variances across systems and product lines.

Commercial Analysis

• Assess market conditions, industry trends, and competitor performance.
• Review financial viability for strategic projects and new initiatives.
• Analyse proposed project costs and spending, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Reporting

• Prepare detailed financial and performance reports for senior management.
• Present insights and recommendations clearly and concisely.
• Develop and manage dashboards and performance metrics.

Collaboration & Support

• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide insights.
• Review and improve business processes by identifying risks and opportunities.
• Support projects with financial modelling and commercial guidance.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CA or CFA are advantageous.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial or data analysis.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, and other business intelligence tools.
• In-depth understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Sound grasp of accounting principles and standards.
• Ability to convert complex data into actionable insights.
