Role Purpose
The Financial Adviser in the Outbound Call Center is an entrepreneurial professional dedicated to continuously enhancing the lifetime financial wellness of individuals, their families, and communities. This is achieved through empowerment and education, by proactively selling tailored financial solutions that create financial growth and provide security.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for a comprehensive range of advisory, sales, and compliance duties:
Sales & Business Development
- Proactively strive to achieve personal financial targets through effective planning, time management, and diligence.
- Conduct client financial needs analysis to develop and implement customized financial plans that align with clients’ financial goals.
- Proactively build and maintain client relationships by presenting innovative and trustworthy product offerings.
- Identify entrepreneurial opportunities in every interaction, demonstrating a resilient and goal-oriented mindset.
- Present information-sharing sessions on financial planning topics to engage new business and enhance the knowledge of potential clients.
Client Advisory & Review
- Support and guide clients through the decision-making process, displaying exceptional product knowledge and customer centricity.
- Prepare, interpret, and present client financial performance and other relevant information to enhance client understanding and facilitate decision-making.
- Regularly review client accounts to determine if life changes, economic shifts, or financial performance indicate a need for plan reassessment.
- Research and monitor financial market trends to ensure that proposed plans remain relevant and effective.
Compliance & Administration
- Ensure technical product and legislative knowledge is always current to propose the most relevant client solutions and comply with governance requirements.
- Timeously complete all administrative and reporting duties related to the role.
- Build sound relationships with others through honesty, trust, and respect.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) certificate is mandatory.
- Post-Matric Qualification: A post-matric qualification equivalent to NQF Level 5 (FSCA Recognized) is required.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of sales and/or Call Centre working experience is essential.
- Proven cold calling experience is necessary.
- Regulatory Examination (RE) 5 is highly desirable.
- Must meet FAIS Compliance Requirements.
