Are you a master of financial processes with a passion for efficiency and optimization? Sanlam Life and Savings (SLS) is seeking a Finance Process Analyst to join their team in Bellville, Western Cape. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the financial systems and processes for one of South Africa’s top financial services providers.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in finance and systems. You’ll be the business owner for the SAP S/4HANA Finance system and its related sub-ledger systems. Your mission will be to design, optimize, and maintain financial processes, ensuring they are efficient, compliant, and well-documented.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Process Optimization: Analyze current financial processes to find opportunities for improvement and automation. You’ll design and implement optimized workflows to ensure efficiency and scalability.
• System Support: Collaborate with a team of Business Analysts to ensure systems like SAP S/4HANA are effectively managed and working as intended. You’ll act as a key liaison between the finance team and the business analysts.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract and analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. You’ll provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on your findings.
• Training & Development: Create and deliver training materials to ensure stakeholders are proficient in new processes and systems.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Process Analyst or a similar role.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, or similar ERP systems, is a major advantage.
• Proficiency with process mapping and documentation tools.
• Excellent analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
