About the Role

The Executive Personal Assistant will provide high-level support to the CEO of SanlamAllianz Life Insurance and members of the leadership team. This role ensures smooth and efficient management of office operations, administrative tasks, and event coordination, often spanning multiple geographies across the continent.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are discreet, proactive, agile, and collaborative, with the ability to manage complex priorities effectively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Diary & Travel Management: Manage complex calendars, international meetings, and travel arrangements.
  • Process Coordination: Handle payments, approvals, and administrative activities with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Event & Office Coordination: Support internal events, leadership meetings, and workshops for seamless execution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and discretion.
  • Information Management: Prepare documents, correspondence, and reports as required.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other Personal Assistants and teams across the SanlamAllianz HUB to ensure smooth operations and alignment.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Support special projects and tasks as they arise.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar senior administrative role, ideally supporting senior executives.
  • Proven experience coordinating local and international travel.
  • Relevant Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field is advantageous.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Digital Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office Suite, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Zoom, with ability to adopt new platforms quickly.
  • Organisational Excellence: Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and work under pressure.
  • Professional Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident engagement with senior stakeholders.
  • Judgment & Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information responsibly and exercise discretion.
