What You’ll Do

As the Engineering Stores Supervisor, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our production lines run smoothly and without interruption. Reporting to the Maintenance Planner, you will be the key driver behind managing engineering stock, ensuring transparent spending, and maintaining accurate data.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Stock Management: Overseeing all stock requests, monitoring levels, and ensuring inventory accuracy to keep our engineering team supplied.
• Systems and SAP Management: Using SAP to manage purchasing, stock, and inventory control. You’ll review purchase requisitions and ensure all material data is accurate.
• Health and Safety: You’ll be a champion for safety, ensuring compliance with all standards and best practices, from PPE to lock-out/tag-out procedures.
• People Management: Leading and managing our dedicated Storeman team, setting KPIs, and identifying training needs to help them grow.

Do You Have What It Takes?

We’re looking for a motivated and experienced individual who can hit the ground running.

• Experience: You’ll need at least 3-5 years of experience as a Store Controller or Store Supervisor in an Engineering Stores environment, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing sector.
• Education: A Matric is required, along with a completed tertiary qualification in Inventory Management, Warehousing, or a related field.
