What You’ll Do: Lead with Vision

As the Engineering Manager, you will be at the forefront of the mine’s operations, ensuring all engineering standards are met and exceeded. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coordinating all engineering functions and standards at the mine.
• Overseeing strategic planning for short-, medium-, and long-term engineering operations and services.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety, statutory, and risk management requirements.
• Driving equipment performance and reliability to maintain professional engineering standards.
• Developing engineering talent and supporting succession planning initiatives to build a strong team for the future.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

This is a senior-level position that requires a specific blend of experience, qualifications, and leadership skills.

• Education: A Grade 12 and a Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering are essential.
• Certifications: You must have a GCC Mines and Works certificate.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience as an appointed Engineer and at least 3 years in an underground mining environment.
• Additional: A valid driver’s license is also required.
