We’re now looking for an Employee Services Administrator to join our team in Mossel Bay for a 6-month temporary contract.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing best-in-class payroll and HR administration that delivers efficient employee services. You will be a crucial part of our team, ensuring everything from time cards to benefits is managed smoothly and accurately.


A Day in the Life of an Employee Services Administrator

As an Employee Services Administrator at Nestlé, no two days are the same. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Time and Attendance Management: You’ll validate employee timecards, correct system errors, and ensure compliance with working time and overtime regulations. This involves weekly checks and reporting to site leadership.
  • HR Administration: You will manage a variety of HR functions, including pre-boarding and off-boarding, employee benefits administration (medical aid, retirement funds), and processing hire/termination forms.
  • Data and Reporting: You will perform monthly pre-payroll checks, coordinate headcount budget reviews, and maintain accurate employee files. You’ll also work with our various teams to ensure data quality and timely payments to service providers.
  • Support & Coordination: You’ll be the go-to person for employee queries related to pay, leave, and benefits. You will also manage our biometric system and handle vendor payments to ensure smooth operations.

What Will Make You Successful?

To thrive in this role, you should have a solid foundation in HR and payroll administration. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and knowledgeable.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: A 3-year Diploma in HR, Payroll, or Finance Administration.
  • Experience:
    • 2-3 years of working experience with time and attendance systems and SAP.
    • Good understanding of HR processes and policies.
    • Knowledge of Time Management Systems (Kronos is a plus).

Skills & Knowledge

  • A sound understanding of BCEA and Tax legislation.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Overtime Exemption.
