The Opportunity

As the Electrical Foreman, you’ll be the electrical backbone of our factory. You’ll take on full responsibility for all electrical systems during production periods and planned maintenance. You will not only manage a team of electricians but also provide critical support to the production team, ensuring our operations run efficiently and without a hitch.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Team Leadership: Manage a team of electricians, ensuring they are well-trained, and providing daily support for breakdowns and root cause analysis.
• Maintenance & Planning: Plan and assign daily corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance tasks. You’ll also conduct regular inspections to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Problem-Solving: Monitor repetitive breakdowns and implement engineering solutions to minimize disruptions and improve efficiency.
• Project Management: Lead and participate in plant performance improvement projects, cost-saving initiatives, and energy efficiency improvements.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure the operation of the plant is in an efficient manner by conducting regular inspections and maintaining full TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) step processes.

Are You the Perfect Fit?

We’re looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual with a knack for leadership. To be successful in this role, you should have:

• An Electrical Trade Test Certificate and an N6 Technical Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a National Diploma from a Technikon.
• At least two years of experience as an electrical foreman or supervisor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• A Wireman’s License (Installation Electrician Registration).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• The ability to work independently, under pressure, and as a team player.
