Key Responsibilities

• Database Management: Manage, monitor, and maintain IDMS and DB2 database objects to ensure maximum performance and uptime.

• Security & Compliance: Enforce database security standards to protect sensitive financial data.
• Strategic Initiatives: Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution. You’ll also provide design and consultation support for new projects.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• An IT degree or a relevant industry certification.
• 8+ years in IT, with at least 5 years as an operational DBA in a large corporate environment.
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with IDMS and DB2 in a mainframe environment.
• A solid understanding of mainframe OS concepts and experience in another mainframe discipline.
• Proven experience in database analysis, design, and performance tuning.
