This role is for a strategic leader who can navigate the complexities of data science and data engineering projects from start to finish. You’ll be at the forefront of our most challenging engagements, helping us deliver intelligent, scalable, and automated solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Data Scientist at Deloitte, you’ll be responsible for more than just algorithms and models.¹ You’ll lead and manage multiple projects, engaging with stakeholders and guiding teams of data engineers and data scientists to deliver end-to-end solutions.²

Your responsibilities will include:

• Project Leadership: You’ll oversee and manage the execution of data engineering and data science projects, ensuring they are delivered with quality and efficiency.³
• Strategic Development: You’ll produce intelligent solutions, develop business intelligence roadmaps, and prioritize requests to meet both tactical and strategic information needs.⁴
• Problem-Solving: You’ll work directly with clients to understand their business challenges and frame them into data analytics or digital solutions that deliver real value.⁵
• Team Management: You’ll lead, mentor, and train junior members of the team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.⁶
• Technical Excellence: You’ll design and manage end-to-end solutions, implement best-practice pipeline frameworks, and utilize cutting-edge machine learning techniques.⁷

Is This You?

We’re looking for a driven, results-oriented individual with a blend of technical and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in business engagement and stakeholder management.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• A strong understanding of business processes, risks, and controls.
• Excellent interpersonal, management, and leadership skills.
• A proven track record of using industry technologies for data analysis, business intelligence, data science, and data engineering.
