Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from initial design to final commissioning. A typical day will include:

• Engineering Activities: Overseeing electrical engineering tasks for various projects, ensuring all work aligns with established standards and codes of practice.
• Technical Design: Reviewing technical documents, defining electrical engineering requirements, and preparing specifications for electrical infrastructure and installations.
• Feasibility Studies: Conducting electrical power system studies to ensure project viability.
• Client Collaboration: Liaising directly with clients to ensure designs meet their needs and representing the company in professional meetings.
• Project Management: You’ll be accountable for project quality, risk management, financial performance, and ensuring client satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

We need a candidate who is not only technically proficient but also a strong leader and excellent communicator.

Requirements

• Education: You must have a BSc/BEng in Electrical Engineering and a Matric certificate.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) in a consulting environment.
• Professional Registration: You must be professionally registered as a Pr Electrical Engineer with ECSA.
