We’re looking for a dynamic Customer Account Executive to join our Group Partnership Development division in Parktown. This permanent role is a high-impact position where you’ll be responsible for expanding our client base, positioning our value proposition, and fundamentally improving the customer experience with RMA.

The Job At a Glance: Growth and Customer Excellence

Your primary goal is two-fold: increase the number of lives covered under our Group Partnership Development and ensure an unparalleled customer experience.

You will be the face of RMA for targeted employers, acting as both a sales driver and a first-line service consultant. This involves everything from complex query resolution to proactive relationship building and detailed customer feedback analysis.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

  • Business Growth & Sales: Provide a strong value proposition to employers to facilitate their move to RMA. You will promote our products, identify up-selling/cross-selling opportunities, and generate new leads through ongoing customer engagement.
  • Relationship Management: Set up continuous sessions with clients to build strong rapport and ensure RMA is delivering excellent service. You’ll follow up on all customer issues to guarantee resolution.
  • Service & Support: Provide first-line product, process, and technical support. A key responsibility is visiting clients to assist with the submission of the Return on Earnings (ROE).
  • Customer Experience Champion: Conduct customer satisfaction surveys, perform root cause analysis on pain points, and assist in projects aimed at transforming the customer experience.
  • Coordination & Training: Act as an intermediary, coordinating RMA service teams (including training and claims) to ensure the client benefits fully from our services.

What Will You Bring to the Table?

We need a skilled professional who has proven experience in the insurance sector and is ready to take ownership of a client portfolio.

Essential Requirements:

  • Education: NQF Level 6: Diploma in Insurance or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in an insurance sales, service, or claims environment (an insurance sales environment is preferable).
  • Domain Knowledge: Sound knowledge of COID (Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act) and Life Insurance Products, plus a good understanding of the entire insurance value chain.
  • Compliance: Knowledge of industry regulations like POPI, COIDA, and TCF (Treating Customers Fairly).
  • Skills: Proven ability in selling and growing business, generating leads, and managing customer complaints. Excellent presentation skills, strong selling abilities, and the capacity for data interpretation and report writing.
  • Flexibility: Must be able to travel for business-related matters. Being Multilingual is highly advantageous.
