Calling All Contracts Specialists: Join Our Team in Centurion!

Are you a meticulous professional with a talent for contracts and a knack for compliance? The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) is looking for a Contracts Officer to join our team in Centurion on a 1-year fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to play a crucial role in ensuring all contracts are in line with Supply Chain Regulations and to manage our relationships with key suppliers.

What You’ll Be Doing

As our Contracts Officer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Contracts Administration: You’ll be the go-to person for all things contracts—from drafting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and monitoring early warning systems to leading the invoicing process and conducting monthly reconciliations.
• Compliance & Audits: You will ensure all contracts are compliant with supply chain regulations and will facilitate the quarterly and annual B-BBEE verification audits.
• Supplier Management: You’ll handle the loading and syncing of suppliers on our system, maintaining smooth and effective relationships.
• General Administration: You’ll also be responsible for monitoring and managing our photocopier leases, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Do You Have What It Takes?

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Education: A National Diploma in Contracts Management, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant NQF 6 qualification. A law degree (LLB) would be a significant advantage!
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management.
