Are you a proactive and compassionate professional with a passion for fostering a healthy workplace? We’re looking for a dedicated Consultant: Health & Wellness to join our Taxpayer Engagement & Operations division in Pretoria. What We’re Looking For
We need a skilled individual who can develop, implement, and evaluate health and wellness programs. The ideal candidate will have strong program management experience and the ability to collaborate with various business units to identify wellness needs and drive initiatives.
To be a good fit, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree / Advanced Diploma in Social work or an Honours in Psychology.
- 5-7 years of experience in an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Wellness environment, with at least 2-3 years at a technically skilled level.
- Alternatively, a Senior Certificate (NQF 4) with 10 years of experience in an EAP and Wellness environment.
- The ability to provide support to employees and managers on health and wellness issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Consultant in Health & Wellness, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that ensure our wellness programs are effective and aligned with our organizational goals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Program Management: Plan, resource, and deliver prioritized wellness programs, ensuring they are managed within set plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational and process optimization and initiate procedural changes to enhance efficiency.
- Risk Management: Produce and update the health risk matrix to address health and wellness policy matters and ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislation.
- Employee Support: Provide direct support to employees and managers in managing health and wellness issues, ensuring integrated case management.
- Strategic Influence: Contribute to and influence industry and organizational trends and practices to align with our strategic objectives.
