Job Description
The Commercial Sales Agent provides specialist knowledge, supporting account development strategies and executing sales plans to achieve medium-sized sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Data Collection & Analysis
- Conduct research using primary data sources
- Select and analyse key information, themes, and trends
Information & Business Advice
- Provide specialist advice on policy interpretation and application
- Resolve queries and escalate complex issues
Document Preparation
- Edit documents in line with organisational guidelines
- Prepare content for publication
Insights & Reporting
- Prepare and coordinate analytics and data reports
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop relationship management plans for existing accounts
- Build connections with decision-makers and influencers
- Gather feedback and recommend improvements based on customer insights
Financial Advice
- Provide financial advice aligned to client goals within a specific segment
Sales
- Sell simple products and services directly to clients
- Support sales teams with back-office tasks where required
Operational Compliance
- Maintain knowledge of company policies and regulatory codes
- Ensure compliance and report any patterns of noncompliance
Personal Capability Building
- Participate in training, assessments, and coaching
- Maintain relevant professional accreditation
- Stay updated on industry regulations, best practices, and technology
