Are you passionate about helping people and have a knack for building relationships? Nedbank is searching for a Client Advisor to join our team in Mthatha. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is customer-focused and ready to help clients navigate the world of banking, both in person and through digital solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Nedbank needs a dedicated individual who can connect with clients and truly understand their needs. Your main purpose will be to educate clients on our digital self-service solutions while helping them with their sales and service needs. By doing this, you’ll play a direct role in helping us achieve our business goals and grow our market share.

- Educate and empower: Teach clients how to use our digital platforms and self-service channels.

- Provide an excellent experience: Make every client feel welcome, heard, and cared for.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Client Advisor, you’ll be on the front lines, helping Nedbank fulfill its purpose of being financial experts who do good. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and retaining client relationships by keeping them informed and providing great service. You’ll also need to identify and resolve obstacles, ensuring all sales activities are on track to meet your individual and team goals.
On the compliance side, you will be responsible for mitigating risks by adhering to legislative requirements such as FICA and FAIS. Keeping abreast of industry changes and staying compliant with Nedbank policies is essential.
Do You Have What It Takes?
This role requires a unique blend of customer service expertise and sales ability.
- Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of retail, banking client service, or sales experience is required.
- Education: A Diploma is essential, and a FAIS-approved qualification is preferred. You must have also completed an NQF level 5 in finance or banking.
- Key Skills: You should have strong product knowledge, sales persuasion, and customer relationship management skills. Being tech-savvy and adaptable is also a big plus.
