This is a key leadership role where you’ll be responsible for developing and executing category strategies to ensure the availability, cost efficiency, and performance of goods and services across our operations. What You’ll Do

As a Category Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our procurement function. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Planning: You’ll develop and execute category strategies that align with our company’s objectives and market conditions.
• Sourcing & Negotiation: You’ll source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and long-term value.
• Inventory Management: You’ll optimize inventory levels by overseeing category planning and stock management across multiple business units.
• Analysis & Reporting: You’ll analyze spend and sales data to inform procurement strategies and prepare performance reports for strategic decision-making.
• Relationship Management: You’ll build and maintain strong supplier partnerships, ensuring compliance with contracts and company policies.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate with a Matric/Grade 12 certificate and a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or category management. A relevant tertiary qualification is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in stock management and supplier negotiations, along with strong analytical and reporting skills. You must be bilingual in Afrikaans and English, and have a valid driver’s license as travel is required.
