What You’ll Do

As a Cashier, you’ll be the face of our company, handling all point-of-sale transactions and ensuring every customer leaves with a positive impression. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized store, and supporting our stock management efforts.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Transaction Management: Handle all point-of-sale transactions, including processing payments by cash or card, issuing receipts, and accurately managing your cash drawer.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with their purchases, and ensure a smooth and efficient checkout experience.
• Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area, and assist with stocking shelves and conducting stock takes to ensure products are always available.
• Operational Support: Bag, box, or wrap merchandise for customers, and assist with preparing packages for shipment as needed.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: A Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
• Experience: Previous cashier experience is a must.
• Skills: You must be computer literate and have the ability to work confidently with money and customers.
• Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, a detail-oriented approach, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
