Are you a customer service superstar with a passion for helping people? Do you have experience in a fast-paced call center environment and a knack for creating positive client experiences? If so, Nedbank is looking for a dedicated Call Agent to join our team in Durban.
This role is more than just answering phones; it’s about being the first point of contact for our clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring they receive professional and efficient service every time.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Call Agent, you’ll play a vital role in our client-focused team. Your day will be driven by a commitment to excellence and a passion for problem-solving. You will:
- Provide Exceptional Service: Answer calls professionally and efficiently, aiming to meet our high-performance targets. You will be the friendly and helpful voice of Nedbank.
- Build Relationships: Ensure every client interaction is a positive one. You will create and maintain long-term relationships by being honest, accountable, and always pushing to go the extra mile.
- Problem-Solve: Listen carefully to understand a client’s query, and either resolve it on the spot or escalate it to management by logging the case correctly.
- Drive Business Growth: Actively generate leads by offering products to clients, contributing to our overall business targets.
- Stay Informed: Keep up to date with new legislation, policies, and products to ensure you can provide accurate and relevant information to clients.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is an adaptable, quality-oriented professional with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of customer loyalty.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a contact center, with a background in the cellphone service provider industry being a must.
- Education: You must have a Matric/Grade 12 or a National Senior Certificate.
- Certifications: While not essential, holding a RE 5, FAIS, or Banking Certificate is a definite advantage.
- Skills: A solid grasp of administrative procedures, relevant software, and an understanding of banking principles. You must be great at managing your work and have a high degree of adaptability.
