What You’ll Be Doing

As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our growth strategy. Your primary focus will be on expanding our client base in corporate insurance. You will be responsible for:

• Driving new business: Identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the market.
• Cultivating a robust sales pipeline: Analyzing performance metrics to enhance engagement and conversion ratios.
• Engaging with stakeholders: Acting as a primary point of contact and participating in key client meetings, presentations, and events.
• Conducting market research: Staying ahead of emerging trends to inform strategic direction.
• Preparing reports: Providing senior management with valuable insights on business activities and client feedback.

Are You the Perfect Fit?

We’re looking for a proactive and strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills. To be a top candidate, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business, finance, or insurance.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the corporate insurance sector.
• A proven track record in lead generation and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

A solid understanding of the South African corporate insurance market and a willingness to travel are a plus.
