About the Role
FNB is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive the growth of its Investment and Insurance business in partnership with Private Advisors. The role involves implementing strategic initiatives, managing business development activities, and building relationships to achieve key portfolio objectives within assigned regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by identifying leads, supporting campaigns, and managing regional relationships.
- Provide first-line support for escalations and manage leadership requests.
- Track financial performance against targets and implement strategies to close performance gaps.
- Oversee the entire process from quote submission to completion.
- Support the use of lead tools to identify and leverage new opportunities.
- Launch and manage campaigns, maintaining momentum and tracking success.
- Develop tactical budgets to minimize costs and optimize spending.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Coach and upskill advisors to enhance sales and customer experience.
- Promote service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, best practices, and governance standards.
- Identify cross-functional opportunities and streamline enterprise capabilities to improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
- BCom Degree or related qualification.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Broker Consultant role.
- Experience in Investment and Long-Term Insurance.
- CFP certification (advantageous).
- Experience working with LISP (Linked Investment Service Provider) platforms.
