What You’ll Be Doing 💼
As a Business Development Executive, you’ll be at the forefront of our growth strategy. Your main goal is to identify and develop new business opportunities by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions in Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD), Skills Development, and Socio-Economic Development (SED).
Your key responsibilities will include:
- New Business Development: Identify and engage with potential corporate clients to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Consultative Selling: Assess client needs and collaborate with internal teams to create compelling, high-impact business proposals.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term, value-based relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and sustainable growth.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain an active sales pipeline, deliver weekly activity reports, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Market Insight: Stay informed about market trends and corporate compliance requirements to strengthen business opportunities.
Who We’re Looking For 🌟
The ideal candidate is a strategic, methodical, and target-driven individual with a passion for making a difference.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of stable working experience in B2B consultative sales, ideally within the services industry.
- Education: A minimum of Matric or a relevant NQF Level 4 qualification.
- Skills: A strong ability to interact at the C-suite level, a proven track record of building long-term professional relationships, and proficiency in CRM systems (like Salesforce) is a plus.
- Essential: A valid driver’s license and your own vehicle, as travel for client meetings is required.
