Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity for a Business Developer (Wholesale) to join our team in the Vaal region, Gauteng. Your Strategic Role and Responsibilities

As a Business Developer, you will be the driving force behind our wholesale channel strategy. Your role is all about building strong, long-term relationships and collaborating with our wholesale customers to achieve ambitious sales and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategy Execution: Lead the implementation of the wholesale channel strategy to achieve our volume and revenue goals.
  • Joint Business Planning: Partner with wholesale customers to develop and execute joint business plans that foster mutual growth and success.
  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture effective relationships with key customer stakeholders to ensure loyalty and unlock new growth opportunities.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor compliance with trading terms and contracts, and work with the Credit and Accounts team to manage credit allocations and ensure payment adherence.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive the “Look of Success” standards in trade, ensuring optimal stock management and supply chain efficiency with our distribution partners.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a strategic, analytical, and highly skilled professional with a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of the FMCG landscape.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: A Matric and a formal qualification in Sales, Marketing, or a related commercial discipline.
  • Experience: 4–6 years of experience in a commercial environment, with a strong preference for experience in the FMCG or wholesale sector.
  • Skills: Strong skills in strategic sales planning, stakeholder management, negotiation, and analytical thinking are essential.
  • Attributes: You must have a solid understanding of FMCG trade dynamics, financial literacy, and the ability to solve problems under pressure.
