If so, we’re looking for a dedicated Building Manager to join our Investor Services team at Broll Property Group in Midrand.

You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of the building’s operations, from developing budgets and supervising staff to performing hands-on maintenance work when needed. What Does This Role Entail?
As a Building Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the entire facility. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Operational Leadership: You’ll supervise and control maintenance staff, allocate duties, and ensure that all premises are in a satisfactory condition. You’ll perform ad hoc quality control checks and report all issues to the Operations Manager.
- Maintenance & Compliance: You’ll continuously survey the building to identify maintenance needs, respond promptly to tenant requirements, and perform repairs where necessary. You’ll also ensure strict compliance with all legal regulations and safety procedures.
- Stakeholder Relations: You’ll act as a liaison between the company and external contacts, building and maintaining professional relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
- Team Management: You’ll assign tasks, coordinate personnel, and ensure that staffing levels are appropriate. You’ll provide daily direction to your team and ensure they are performing optimally.
- Hands-On Work: You’ll be expected to perform hands-on maintenance work from time to time, ensuring you are familiar with all emergency equipment and procedures. You will also be on standby for emergencies 24/7.

We’re looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in building management and a talent for leadership.
You will be an ideal candidate if you have:
- Five or more years of related experience, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent understanding of building management procedures, including budgeting, service contracts, and leasing agreements.
- Strong leadership abilities and a talent for organizing, coordinating, and directing team activities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to use all related maintenance equipment and computer applications.
