What Does This Role Entail?

As the Brand Manager for Dettol, you will be the driving force behind the brand’s performance and purpose. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership: You’ll lead the development of the brand strategy, ensuring it translates into brand plans that deliver strong brand performance and health.
  • Innovation & Project Management: You will contribute to building and developing the innovation and renovation pipelines, flawlessly managing projects in partnership with various cross-functional teams like R&D and Finance.
  • Data Analysis & Financial Acumen: You’ll consistently analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) like net revenue, gross margin, and market share. You will also track and manage your marketing budget, demonstrating an understanding of its impact on the brand’s P&L.
  • Omnichannel Execution: You’ll devise and implement both offline and online strategies, ensuring the brand has a strong presence across all channels, including e-commerce. You will curate product listings and content that resonate with our audience and measure campaign success through data-driven insights.
  • Collaboration & Communication: You’ll work closely with communication agencies to ensure all brand communications enhance the brand’s equity and the company’s reputation.

We’re looking for a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and ownership. You’re an independent thinker with excellent leadership and communication skills, ready to thrive in a cross-functional environment.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • A minimum bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing.
  • At least 5 years of experience within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
  • A proven track record in developing successful e-commerce strategies.
  • Demonstrated creativity in brand strategy and the ability to drive innovation.
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for translating KPIs into actionable business opportunities.
  • A curious mindset and a keen interest in understanding the target consumer segment.
