Lead a Branch to Success: Become a Branch Manager at Sanlam in Nelspruit

Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for helping people achieve their financial goals? Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is looking for a Branch Manager to lead its team in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. This is a chance to make a tangible impact by helping grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass in your community.

As the Branch Manager, you’ll be the face of the brand and the heart of the branch’s operations. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing the branch’s retail strategy, guiding your team, and ensuring every client receives an exceptional experience. If you are a seasoned leader with a strategic mindset and a dedication to service, this opportunity is for you.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Strategy and Planning: Work with the Area Manager to translate provincial strategy into a clear, actionable plan for your branch, complete with targets and objectives.
  • Sales Delivery: Develop and execute campaigns and promotions to attract new clients. You’ll also monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Customer Experience: Champion a service-driven culture within the branch. You’ll ensure a smooth, efficient client experience and manage all client complaints and queries effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and support your team of Sales Consultants. This includes everything from talent management and performance reviews to ensuring their continuous professional growth and compliance.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • RE1 and RE5 certifications.
  • 120 Wealth Management credits or a tertiary qualification recognized by the FSCA.
  • Annual Class of Business accreditation and compliance with continuous professional development (CPD) cycles.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service, business processes, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, decision-making ability, and a talent for leading and developing others.
