About the Role:

As an Auxillary Nurse, you will work under the direct supervision of registered nurses and other medical professionals, providing essential patient care and support to our residents. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals in our care, assisting them with their daily needs and supporting their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Patient Care: Assist residents with essential daily activities including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Monitoring & Support: Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs. Assist residents with mobility and range of motion exercises.
• Medication Administration: Administer medications strictly as directed by healthcare providers.
• Emotional Support: Provide compassionate emotional support and comfort to residents and their families.
• Mobility Assistance: Safely assist in transferring residents to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other medical equipment.
• Environment & Documentation: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and medical equipment. Accurately and timely update patient charts and medical records.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care is delivered.

Who We’re Looking For:

Minimum Experience: Entry Level

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications are essential.
• Proven experience working in a healthcare setting is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A clear understanding of and strict adherence to patient confidentiality and privacy guidelines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move patients and medical equipment.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to assist patients.
