We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our Audit & Assurance team, specifically within the Large & Complex segment. In this role, you will be a key leader, supporting our partners and helping to drive strategic initiatives and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

What You’ll Do in This Role

As an Audit Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our operations. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading Engagements: You will support senior leadership in managing challenging and complex audit engagements, particularly within the public commercial industry.
• Team Leadership: You will oversee and mentor your team, ensuring they have the knowledge and expertise to deliver on client engagements. You will also manage and monitor their deliverables to ensure quality and adherence to our high standards.
• Strategic Contribution: You will proactively contribute to the firm’s business strategies, helping to win new business and align with industry initiatives.
• Operational Excellence: You will manage project plans, budgets, and profitability, ensuring all engagements are delivered effectively and efficiently. You will also be responsible for risk and quality management.
• Client Impact: You will maintain strong client relationships and use your deep understanding of audit and risk advisory services to deliver high-quality, impactful results.

Is This You?

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a strong background in audit and a passion for leadership.

• Qualifications: You must be a CA (SA) with a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Audit Manager.
• Experience: You have extensive audit experience, ideally with a focus on client-facing management roles and large, complex engagements.
• Core Competencies:
  • Leadership: You are a natural leader who can motivate and develop high-performing teams. You lead by example and build confident relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Technical Expertise: You are an expert in risk assessments and audit responses. You can provide clear guidance on the application of tools, methodology, and ethical standards.
  • Strategic Thinking: You understand key objectives for both clients and Deloitte, and you can align people and resources to meet those goals.
  • Judgment: You can formulate reasonable judgments and apply an appropriate level of professional skepticism, especially when dealing with complex matters.
