What Makes This Role Unique?

As our Smart Services Supervisor, you will be a hands-on leader, managing the workflow across multiple service areas. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from windshield chip repairs and paintless dent removals to tracker fitment and paint protection. Your role is pivotal in creating a seamless, customer-focused experience from start to finish.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a Team: Train, motivate, and guide your team of technicians and support staff to achieve their best.
• Manage Workflow: Oversee all service bays, schedule jobs based on technician expertise, and ensure timely vehicle repairs.
• Guarantee Quality: Enforce quality control and ensure every job adheres to manufacturer and OEM guidelines.
• Communicate with Customers: Act as a key point of contact, communicating with customers about their service needs, timelines, and costs.
• Ensure Compliance: Enforce all health, safety, and environmental regulations and maintain accurate records and performance reports.
• Collaborate for Success: Work with parts, sales, and warranty departments to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.

Are You the Perfect Fit?

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role. While not required, a certification in automotive service (ASE or OEM-specific) is a huge plus.

You should also have:

• A valid driver’s license.
• A clear criminal record.
• Fluency in both English and Afrikaans.
• A strong ability to lead, train, and motivate a team.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
