Now Hiring: Assistant Manager – Marketing Planning


We are seeking a talented and strategic Assistant Manager – Marketing Planning to join our team in Sandton, Johannesburg. Reporting to the Manager of Marketing Planning, this permanent position within the Sales & Marketing Group will focus on product and marketing planning, playing a key role in our company’s market strategy.

Key Performance Areas

Your responsibilities will include:

  • New and Current Model Planning: Conducting market trends analysis, defining product specifications, and analyzing market share and pricing.
  • Marketing Strategy: Compiling comprehensive marketing strategies, conducting competitor analysis, and defining target customers and product positioning.
  • Project Management: Leading product project management, from creating product and marketing briefs to coordinating the final marketing plan.
  • Market Research: Initiating and conducting market research to identify new opportunities and trends.
  • Presentations: Developing and delivering product presentations for media launches.
  • Reporting: Analyzing market trends and providing detailed reports to management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: A qualification in Marketing or a related field (NQF Level 5, 240 credits on level 8 framework).
  • Experience: Experience in the motor industry and project management is a significant advantage.
  • Skills: Advanced PC literacy (MS Office Advanced) is required, and SAP knowledge is a plus.

We are looking for a candidate who is a strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and a strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be innovative, persistent, and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Integrity and a proactive approach are essential for success in this role.
