Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for numbers and a desire to contribute to the healthcare industry? Clinix Health Group is looking for a dedicated Assistant Accountant to join our team at Naledi Nkanyezi Private Hospital in Sebokeng, Gauteng.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level professional to play a vital role in our Finance department. You will be instrumental in ensuring the financial and administrative functions of the hospital run smoothly, supporting our operational objectives and upholding corporate governance protocols.


What You’ll Be Doing 💼

As an Assistant Accountant, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of financial duties that are crucial to the hospital’s success. Your work will directly impact our ability to operate efficiently and effectively.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Daily Financial Operations: You’ll handle daily banking uploads, investigate and resolve invoice inquiries, and ensure that all supplier invoices are processed and captured accurately and on time.
  • Cost Control & Efficiency: You will monitor costs and expenses to achieve efficiencies, reduce waste, and help manage the section’s budget.
  • Process Management: You’ll implement and monitor financial processes according to quality standards and company policies, ensuring we always adhere to best practices.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: You will be the vital link between accounts payable and finance managers, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of all financial issues.
  • Stock Control: You’ll also be responsible for overseeing the stock control of stationery and other consumables for the facility.

Who We’re Looking For 🌟

The ideal candidate is a proactive and reliable individual with a solid understanding of financial processes. You are committed to accuracy and have a strong desire to learn and grow in the finance sector.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Education: A Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field.
  • Essential Skills: A good understanding of financial processes and hospital operations is key. You should be able to provide accurate information and advice to stakeholders and have a strong commitment to quality standards.
