What You’ll Be Doing

As a Consultant in Histology, your expertise will be the cornerstone of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnostic Excellence: Providing expert anatomical pathology services to clinicians and advising on life-threatening results.
• Laboratory Leadership: Supporting and supervising daily lab operations to ensure our teams deliver with precision and purpose.
• Team Empowerment: Mentoring and developing our talent pipeline, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional standards.
• Client Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clinicians, verifying and signing out abnormal results with care.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have the credentials and experience to lead with integrity and accountability. You must have:

• FC Path(SA), MBChB, and M Med (Pathology) qualifications.
• HPCSA registration in the relevant practice field.
• A proven background in diagnostic anatomical pathology and histopathology.
• Experience in overseeing laboratory operations and promoting professional standards.
• A “people-first” mindset with excellent communication skills.
