What You’ll Be Doing: Analysis, Design, and Development

As an Analyst Programmer III, you’ll be instrumental in developing and maintaining our core technical systems. This role is perfect for someone with 1–2 years of hands-on experience who is eager to take on more responsibility and grow their technical footprint.

Your responsibilities will be split between building new solutions and supporting our existing infrastructure:

• System Development: Design and code less complex programs from technical specifications. You’ll be translating basic user requirements into functional systems designs.
• Documentation & Design: Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders and create industry-standard documentation (SRS’s, AIS’s, etc.) to map out your designs and processes.
• System Maintenance: Interpret user needs to inform systems design, investigate and resolve simple systems issues, and ensure all system documentation is meticulously up-to-date.
• Operational Support: Resolve less complex user queries using SQL and web-based query tools. You’ll manage incident tickets, ensuring resolution within SLA, and collaborate with business teams to provide functional input.

What You’ll Need:

• Education: A 3-year IT or NQF-aligned qualification.
• Experience: 1–2 years of development experience is a must, with a preference for candidates who have 2–3 years of programming/analyst programming experience.
• Key Skills: Familiarity with a Project Management Methodology, relevant business process context knowledge, and a natural willingness to learn and keep abreast of current methodologies and technologies.
• Mindset: You must be great at managing your time, knowing the status of your work, and maintaining focus despite changes in priority. You work well with diverse teams and balance personal tasks with team needs.
