🧾 What You’ll Be Doing

As an Accountant/Bookkeeper, you’ll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting business growth. Your day-to-day work will include:

• Managing end-to-end bookkeeping functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
• Performing monthly reconciliations and ensuring financial data accuracy.
• Assisting with accounting clean-ups by identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintaining and updating spreadsheets for reporting and financial analysis.
• Collaborating with US-based clients and team members, ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery.
• Supporting the preparation of management reports and contributing to process improvements within the finance team.

Requirements:

• A Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent qualification).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in tools such as QuickBooks, Ramp, Bill.com, or Gusto.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas like SUMIFS and INDEX MATCH.
• Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and comfort working independently in a remote-first environment.

💰 Compensation

• Starting salary: From R25,000 CTC per month, negotiable based on experience.
