Are you a meticulous and motivated accountant looking for a new challenge? We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accountant to join our team in Limpopo, South Africa. This is a full-time, on-site position where you’ll be a key member of the finance department, ensuring our financial records are accurate and our reporting is timely.

This role is perfect for someone with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll work closely with the finance team and other departments, playing a crucial part in managing the company’s financial health.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Manage all aspects of the company’s financial records, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and the general ledger.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. You’ll monitor financial data to spot trends and variances.
• Reconciliation & Audits: Reconcile bank statements and other accounts regularly. You’ll also assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and help with audits and tax preparations.
• Collaboration: Work with various departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting. You’ll also stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices.

What You’ll Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related role.
• A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
