This role focuses on leveraging Vodafone’s innovative products and solutions to address customer needs, enhance satisfaction, and drive commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary owner of customer relationships within the designated portfolio.
- Proactively defend and grow the customer base by driving revenue expansion and retention.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of customer requirements to provide tailored, value-driven solutions.
- Execute disciplined account planning, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking.
- Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, managing the full sales cycle to closure.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Support the finance team in recovering overdue payments.
- Ensure products and services are delivered on time, aligned with customer expectations.
- Act as a key communication link between clients and internal departments.
- Generate new business opportunities and foster long-term partnerships.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on monthly and quarterly initiatives.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales run rate and demand management reports.
- Conduct sales analysis by product and category.
- Participate in annual sales strategy and budget planning.
- Forecast and track key account metrics, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Prepare account performance reports and strategic recommendations for growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales, Business, or a related Technical field (essential).
- Postgraduate qualification (advantageous).
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience (Account Manager) or 5+ years (Senior Account Manager) in telecommunications or ICT sales.
- Proven expertise in portfolio management and solution selling.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver’s licence required.
Technical Competencies
- Proven track record in solution-based selling to enterprise customers.
- Deep understanding of customer industries, market dynamics, and decision-making processes.
- Ability to align Vodafone’s business solutions with client strategies.
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-industry sales portfolios and achieving revenue growth.
