Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the ICSP scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Admissibility: Applicants must be admissible or already fully admitted to the University of Oregon. New students must apply for admission for the Fall 2026 term by the January 15, 2026 deadline.
- Citizenship: Applicants must not be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or eligible for U.S. federal financial assistance.
- Academic and Financial Requirements: Applicants must demonstrate financial need and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Program Commitment: ICSP scholars are required to complete between 66 and 80 hours of cultural service annually.
Application Process
The application process is a two-step procedure:
- University Admission: You must first apply for admission to the University of Oregon.
- Scholarship Application: After submitting your admission application, you will receive a UO Student ID (a 95xxxxxxx number) within three days via your Admissions Status Portal. This ID is essential for creating an account on the UO Scholarship Dashboard.
Once logged into the dashboard, you must complete the following:
- The Profile
- The ISSS Endowed Scholarships Application
- The ICSP Scholarship Application
The final deadline for submitting the scholarship application is February 13, 2026, by 4:00 PM PST.
